Glenn started in the auction business in 1967 following in his father’s footsteps working in the family business. In 1977 he received his real estate license and has successfully sold all kinds of real estate including farms, residential and commercial property at private treaty and public auction. He has been in the Ohio Board of realtors Presidents club in 1990, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 for selling over a $1 million and some years selling over $2.5 million of real estate. Glenn has a broad experience in all facets of the real estate and auction business. He would be pleased to help you market your property.
In 2023 Glenn was inducted into the Ohio Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame. This is a special honor to be able to do the job you love for over 50 years and then be recognized by your peers in the Ohio Auctioneers Association. What a special honor to be able to follow in his father’s (Dannie Hess) footsteps, as he received the award in 2008. It is a rare event for father and son both being inducted in, making it even more special.
Glenn has been married to Joyce (Yochum) Hess for 55 years and they are the parents of Brad Hess and Jana Holbrook, and have 5 grandchildren. Glenn and Joyce have lived near Buford, Ohio for 54 years.
